I recommend walking somewhere listening to the album XTRMNTR by Primal Scream. What an album! It's about ten years old and was pretty ahead of its time.
Here's the music video for the first track "Kill All Hippies", the title is meant to be sort of sarcastic because its about how screwed up America is. If you watch the video you'll see a bunch of soldiers flying jets and athletes, it's a statement about America's views on war...I'll let you do your own interpretation...
Also it's kind of interesting that it was released before 911
